This weekend, one of the storage nodes within the storage cluster of our VPS hosting environment de-activated itself, due to a kernel panic. Automatic re-balancing and recovery mechanisms made sure that no major impact was noticeable on the machines running in our VPS hosting environment.

Tonight at 21:00, we will add this storage node back into storage cluster. We do not expect any downtime for the machines running in this environment, but some small periods of disk latency could occur during the re-balancing of the data.
